The purpose in creating a job card is to take an aircraft out of service, manage a job and associate any identified discrepancies.
- Click on Maintenance > Job Cards in the left navigation
- Click "Create" in the top left corner of the search grid
- Enter a name for the job card (500 Hour Inspection for example), the aircraft it is tied to, the start date and any additional notes and click "Save
Note: When a job card contains an offline event, if the job card is mark completed, "yes" the color of the aircraft changes on the calendar from red to green. The purpose in this, is in the case the user forgets to put the aircraft back into service (if manual), but closes the job card.
