Here are how the activity types are mapped from Avianis to the Avinode Type:

Activity Types - These are coded in the Avianis back end. For example, when the empty leg designation is selected in Avianis, it equals empty leg in Avinode. It is up to the operation on how they color code the Avinode activity types. These are in Schedule > Activity Types in Avinode.

Empty Leg Availability
All activities mapped to this type will be considered empty leg availability and posted in the Empty Legs list in the Avinode System. Flight legs in Avianis that have the Empty checkbox selected along with Publish to Marketplace will go across as this type.
If it's designated an empty leg and published to the marketplace = empty leg availability

Ferry Availability
Activities mapped to this type will be considered available. This option will not post an Empty Leg as the aircraft is assumed available until occupied for the "passenger leg". The engine will take into account the following "passenger leg" and will ensure that the aircraft has enough time to be in position for that. Flight legs in Avianis that have the Empty checkbox selected but do not have the Publish to Marketplace checkbox selected will go across as this type.
If it's designated an empty leg (but not published) = ferry Availability

Flight Occupied
Aircraft will be considered occupied and will not show when searches are performed in the Avinode System. This option should be used for all flight related occupancy e.g. 135 trips, 91 trips etc. Flight legs that are not marked as empty will go across as this type (whether there are passengers on the flight leg or not).
If it's a leg in Avianis that is not marked empty or isn't published to marketplace = flight occupied

Occupied Aircraft
It will be considered occupied and will not show when searches are performed in the Avinode System. This option should be used for all non- flight occupancy e.g Maintenance. Offline events for maintenance will go across as this type.
If it's a maintenance event = occupied

Onground Availability
Aircraft will be considered available on-ground. This option can be used to indicate transient (away from home base) availability. This will price the aircraft from the indicated airport, rather than home base. This is not something that Avianis passes over to Avinode but rather is determined on that side based on the home base of the aircraft.
Transient from home base in Avianis = onground availability

Option Availability
This is an “information only” type. Activities mapped to this type will be shown in the Schedule for the aircraft, but does in no way effect the schedule when searches are performed in the Avinode System as the aircraft is still considered available. This can be used for non-confirmed trips.
